Watchmen and Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice director Zack Snyder has announced his next project: a zombie horror-thriller for Netflix called Army Of The Dead. The official synopsis sounds metal as hell:
[Army of the Dead] is set amid a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, during which a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble: venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
While fans will never get the Snyder cut of Justice League, this is certainly news that will help heal that wound.
A Great Cast
A great cast has been announced for the project, including Dave Bautista, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Ella Purnell, Huma Qureshi, Chris D’Elia, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder, Matthias Schweighöfer, Samantha Win, and Rich Cetrone.
Theo Rossi's Next Role
Sons of Anarchy fans will be excited to know that Theo Rossi has also joined the cast. While there aren't any details about his character yet, there's no doubt that Rossi will absolutely crush whatever Snyder provides for him.
Continuing The Netflix Relationship
This isn't the first time that Rossi has worked on a Netflix project. He was a series regular on Luke Cage for two seasons as the villain Shades.
