A trip to the Big 12 Championship Game is on the line for OU on Saturday night (6:30 p.m., ABC) at Oklahoma State. The Sooners (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) are looking to build off a 28-21 win over Iowa State, while the Cowboys (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) are fresh off a 23-0 win over Texas Tech. Here's a look at some key players to watch when the two teams face off in Bedlam.

3 key players for OU vs. Oklahoma State

Quarterback Caleb Williams: It's safe to say Williams' Heisman Trophy hopes are finished after his recent struggles. The freshman quarterback is only averaging 114.5 passing yards per game in OU's last two contests, and he has thrown three interceptions. Williams hasn't looked nearly as explosive, but he'll have to be the best player on the field this weekend against an elite Oklahoma State defense.

Running back Kennedy Brooks: OU got some crucial production out of Brooks against Iowa State last week. After failing to run for over 80 yards in each of the Sooners' last three contests, the veteran running back ran for 115 yards on 17 carries against the Cyclones. OU's passing game has been mediocre as of late, so a strong performance by Brooks is needed more than ever.

Defensive lineman Jalen Redmond: OU's defensive line has looked like its old self since the return of Redmond, who missed Weeks 4-8 due to an undisclosed injury. The redshirt sophomore has at least 1.5 tackles in the Sooners' last two contests, and he'll need to be a force in the trenches once again on Saturday.

2 big questions for OU vs. Oklahoma State

Can OU establish the run game? It won't be easy to run against an Oklahoma State defense that's allowing a conference-low 84.9 rushing yards per contest this season, but OU has a not-so-secret weapon. Brooks is averaging 162.5 rushing yards and two touchdowns in his two Bedlam appearances.

Can the Sooners prove they're title contenders? OU is sitting at 10th in the College Football Playoff rankings because of its lack of impressive wins, but it has a golden opportunity to strengthen its résumé on Saturday against No. 7 Oklahoma State. If the Sooners can come out of Stillwater with a win, they'll keep themselves in the conversation for one of the four CFP spots.

1 wild prediction for OU vs. Oklahoma State

OU will record three sacks on Saturday. Oklahoma State has only allowed three sacks in a game once this season, which was against Iowa State on Oct. 23. With players such as Isaiah Thomas, Nik Bonitto and Jalen Redmond in the mix, OU has plenty of players capable of causing chaos.
