As anyone who does even the slightest bit of keeping up with the Kardashians knows, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are tying the knot (for the third time) this weekend in Italy. While most people would love to score a spot on the super-exclusive guest list, Scott Disick is (understandably) not one of them.

After a lot of internet speculation and tease-y hints from Kardashian insiders about whether or not he would attend, Scott’s RSVP status is officially a no.

“Scott won’t be at the wedding,” a Kardashian source told Us Weekly.

So what is Scott doing while pretty much everyone else in the Kardashian inner circle (including his and Kourtney’s three kids, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7) is celebrating all things Kravis in Italy? Hanging out with friends/keeping busy in Los Angeles.

According to E! News, Scott “seemed in good spirits” when he was spotted getting dinner with Rod, Sean, and Kimberly Stewart at Lavo Ristorante in West Hollywood this week in the lead-up to Kourtney and Travis’s third wedding ceremony.

“Scott dined with Rod, Rod’s children, as well as Rod’s longtime love, Penny Lancaster, at the Los Angeles hot spot,” a source who was at the restaurant at the same time told Entertainment Tonight. “Scott seemed to be in a good mood.”

TBH, the fact that Scott ultimately decided to skip the Kravis wedding gets filed firmly under “things we all pretty much saw coming,” considering his and Kourtney’s long history (they dated on and off from 2006 to 2015 and are still in regular contact as co-parents/costars, in case you’ve had no access to pop culture since Y2K) and how he’s clearly struggled with watching her move on in a serious way.

In March, a source told Us Weekly that Scott *might* attend the wedding if it was being filmed for The Kardashians but that he would “want to stay far away from witnessing” the ceremony otherwise because “it would definitely be awkward” if he were there. It’s not clear if cameras will be rolling when Kourtney and Travis say “I do” in Italy, but their relationship (and Scott’s reaction to it) has been a major plot point in the first season of the fam’s Hulu show.

“Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always love your sister,” Scott told Khloé while discussing the Kravis engagement in one episode. “I wasn’t that caught off guard. I thought that they’d already be married [based on] the way that she was talking. It wasn’t crazy. Thank god. Because at another time in my life if I’d heard that, life would’ve been over for me.”

Key takeaways: It’s totally fair (and actually really healthy) for Scott to set a boundary around attending Kourtney’s wedding. But it’s also totally fair (albeit way less healthy) that I’m over here hoping this is not proof that the wedding isn’t being filmed. Right?
