Sophie Turner Matched Joe Jonas in Her Sheer Black Cape Dress at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas took themselves out to one of Hollywood’s most famous parties and date nights of the year: the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. The couple posed together, both dressed in black. Sophie in particular stood out in a Louis Vuitton look featuring a sheer black cape dress with a cutout neckline and a darker minidress underneath. She wore her long red hair down straight and a smokey eye makeup look. Meanwhile, Joe looked sharp in Bode.

Sophie and Joe first started dating in 2016. They got married in May 2019 and now have two daughters. In May 2022, Sophie spoke to Jimmy Fallon about how she knew she’d marry Joe “the first night I met him.”

“We went out and we hung out at a bar with, like, all my friends and all his friends, and then they all came back to my apartment and we had drinks after,” Sophie recalled, adding that she cried to her brother that she was already in love with Joe. “I remember he left my apartment, and it may have been the alcohol, but I just wept to my brother. I was like, ‘I love this man so much.’ And I knew. And that was it.”

She spoke to Elle in March 2020 about how being married to Joe isn’t all that different from dating him. “I feel like the only thing that’s changed for me is having this incredible sense of security. Just the word ‘husband’ and the word ‘wife’—it just solidifies the relationship,” she said. “I love being married. I think it’s wonderful. I’m sure we’ll have our hiccups and our different things. But right now, it’s like the security and the safety is everything.”
