Sopranos Actor Joe Pantoliano Posts Photos Around Hoboken

HOBOKEN, NJ – Film actor and director Joe Pantoliano, a Hoboken native, was hanging out in the mile-square city over the weekend, as apparent by several Instagram photos — including some he posted himself.

Pantoliano was injured in a car accident in Connecticut last month, but appears to be bouncing back.

As these Instagram photos show, Pantoliano took note of the outdoor dining at the Japanese restaurant Illuzion on Washington Street by posting a photo. (Hoboken restaurants were allowed to offer outdoor dining starting June 15, with coronavirus precautions in place.)

Then, Pantoliano strolled off the beaten path to try an iced latte at the relatively new and always nut-free Joey No Nuts coffee shop, which has window service.

"Stopped by @joeynonutscafe in my hood for a #cupajoey," Pantoliano noted in his Instagram post.

Pantoliano, who has directed and starred in several films, as well as TV's "The Sopranos," recently starred in the film "Bad Boys for Life." He also stars in the new film "From the Vine" which opens in Canada next month, and in the U.S. some time after that.

On the nonfiction side, the actor has been active in causes related to mental health, and unveiled this documentary in 2013.
