Soup cookoff, quarter auction Saturday in Warren Township
WARREN TWP. − Warren Township Community Center, 3986 New Cumberland Road NE, will hold a soup cookoff and quarter auction on Saturday March 25.
Bring your favorite soup in a crockpot by 11 a.m. Judging will be at 12:30 p.m. First-, second-, and third-place winners will receive prizes. Lunch will be soup, sandwiches and desserts.
The quarter auction will be at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $5 for your auction number. Items for bid are 25 cents to enter your number. Some items will be 50 cents. Items to bid on include a yoga mat, copper frying pan, jewelry, dessert fondue pot, egg cooker, picture frames, kitchen accessories, glassware, Crock Pot, decor items, gift certificates and baked goods.
Donations of cookies and desserts are welcome and appreciated. The Loft Resale Shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For more information, call 330-365-9240 or email thewtcc@yahoo.com.
