Soup’s On For All featured 30 soups for a good cause
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The soup was back Monday night to support a charity kitchen that works to feed the hungry in Grand Rapids.
Covering all four floors of The B.O.B., the annual Soup’s On For All fundraiser featured 30 soups from local organizations.
There was live music, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. WOOD TV8 volunteers including Teresa Weakley, Donovan Long, Tom Hillen, Ellen Bacca, Ken Kolker and Casey Jones will help serve the dishes.
Catholic Charities West Michigan holds Soup’s On For All each year to benefit God’s Kitchen. The kitchen in Grand Rapids’ Heartside neighborhood has a free meal every day at noon, available to anyone with no questions asked. Last year, God’s Kitchen served up more than 70,000 meals.

Soup’s On For All began at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Tickets were $60 at the door. You can also donate to God’s Kitchen online.
