South Africa's Zuma condemns strike violence

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's President Jacob Zuma said on Thursday the strike-hit metal and engineering industry needed to go back to "full production as soon as possible" and condemned the violence reported during the stoppage, now in its second week. "We trust that they will reach a mutually beneficial agreement without much delay," Zuma said at the opening of a Chinese-funded truck manufacturing plant in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth.
