South Alabama Jaguars to be featured in EA Sports College Football 25

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — All 134 Division I Football Bowl Subdivision college football teams including the South Alabama Jaguars will be featured in the upcoming video game EA Sports College Football 25, EA Sports College announced Thursday on X in a video.

The Jaguars are one of the teams you can play in a game simulation and potentially other modes.

“They’re in the game,” the post said. “College Football 25 will feature all 134 FBS schools #CFB25.”

The video featured all 134 Division 1 FBS teams with their colors and logos.

The South Alabama Football X page also posted to announce the Jaguars will be featured in the game.

The teams will have their uniforms, players’ likenesses, mascots, fields and stadiums, according to EA Sports College. This will be the first time that Hancock Whitney Stadium will be included in a video game.

South Alabama was featured in previous versions of NCAA Football video games before they were discontinued in July 2013. NCAA Football 14 was the last edition of the series.

EA Sports is also responsible for creating Madden NFL, EA’s NHL, EA Sports FC and EA Sports PGA Tour.

Specific game modes have yet to be announced for the game, but a Senior Bowl mode, which hasn’t been included in past renditions, could be in the works, according to a Senior Bowl X post.

The Senior Bowl X page teased Thursday a potential Senior Bowl mode to be in the game.

The release date and cover athlete of the game will be revealed in May.
