SOUTH BAY — Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday morning after a boat crash near the South Bay Boat Ramp at the South Bay RV Park.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue officials said first responders were called to the area at about 7:50 a.m. in response the crash.

When they arrived, one injured person was being brought to the boat ramp by someone in another vessel who saw the accident. The injured person was taken by helicopter to a Palm Beach County hospital.

The boat that was involved in the crash then arrived at the ramp and a second person from that boat was taken to a hospital "for evaluation." No information on the conditions of the people involved in the crash was given.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will investigate the cause of the crash.
