SOUTH BEND — Across the country Wednesday high school student-athletes signed national letters of intent to play college athletics. In the South Bend area, signees range from multiple state-championship baseball players, football players and state-meet swimmers ready to continue their athletic careers at the next level

PENN HIGH SCHOOL
Mason Campbell
Franklin College, Baseball
Cambell, a shortstop and pitcher for the Kingsmen, scored six runs in 17 games during Penn's state championship run last season.
Cooper Hums
Western Michigan University, Baseball
An outfielder for the Kingsmen, Hums hit .318 with a .946 OPS as a junior.
Zack Pelletier
Huntington University, Baseball
Pelletier earned All-Northern Indiana Conference honors as a designated hitter for last season's 4A state champs.
Nathan Brazeau
Huntington University, Bowling
Brazeau led the Penn bowling team to semstate title this year and a berth in the state finals.
Wallace Kennach
University of St. Francis, Football
Kennach, a defensive end for the Kingsmen, finished fifth on the team in tackles with 35 in 2022. He also recorded three sacks and six tackles for loss.
Grant Mallery
Trine University, Football
Mallery was a three-sport athlete at Penn, kicking and punting for football, wrestling and playing lacrosse.
Ryan Treber
Trine University, Football
The linebacker led Penn's defense with 58 tackles while adding four sacks and two tackles for loss.
Nathaniel Knuth
Union College, Soccer
Knuth was a defensmen for the Penn soccer team, which won sectional and regional championships in 2022.
Harmony Looney
Bethel University, Softball
Looney hit .232 for the regional champion Penn softball team and was also a reserve pitcher.
Alexis Riem
Indiana-South Bend, Softball
A shortstop and outfielder, Riem hit .287 for the Kingsmen last season, with 24 runs scored, 16 RBI, seven doubles and two triples.
Sophia Pischalko
Wittenberg University, Tennis
Pischalki helped the Penn tennis team to a sectional title as the No. 2 singles player.
CONCORD
Armen Koltookian
Hillsdale College, Football
Koltookian finished last season with 65 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks as a linebacker for Concord's defense.
Audrey Lantrz
University of Missouri-St. Louis, Swimming
Lantz was part of Concord's seventh-place 200-yard state medley relay team. Shew was also eighth in the 100-yard butterfly (56.86), fifth as part of Concord's 200-yard freestyle relay team and third on the 400-yard freestyle relay team at last year's IHSAA state meet.
Kendal Taylor, Indiana University
South Bend, Basketball
Taylor scored 6.9 points and grabbed five rebounds per game this past season.
JIMTOWN
Taysire Williams, Dartmouth, Football
Williams played a major role in Jimtown's Northern Indiana Conference North-South Division title in 2022. He was also named to the NIC North-South Division first team as a tight end.
SOUTH BEND SAINT JOSEPH
Holden Laudeman
University of St. Francis, Football
Laudemen was a key offensive and defensive lineman in 2022.
Savannah Hamilton
Indiana University-South Bend, Softball
Hamilton batted .267 with 24 hits, 19 RBI and five runs scored for the state champion Saint Joseph softball team.
Abby Reese
Saint Mary's (South Bend), Volleyball
Reese finished with 696 assists, 50 aces, 255 digs and 137 kills this past season.
Jack Aranowski
Benedictine College, Football
Aranowski was a key member of the Saint Joe defense as a defensive end and linebacker.
SOUTH BEND ADAMS
Joshua Nziza
University of Saint Francis, Football
Nziza had 62 tackles and forced a fumble for South Bend Adams' defense this year.
Jeremiah Love
University of Saint Francis, Football
A three-year starter, Love was a key offensive piece for the South Bend Adams football team, playing offense, defense and special teams.
