The Panthers, ranked No. 1 in Class 3A, have won eight consecutive games and have secured at least a tie of the Northern Indiana Conference title with last week's 74-26 win over South Bend Adams. Washington can clinch its first outright NIC title since 2009 with a win over Jimtown this week.

2. Northridge (16-4)

Games this week: Jan. 21 at Mishawaka, Jan. 22 at FW Snider

The Raiders, unranked in Class 4A, kept pace with Warsaw in the Northern Lakes Conference with last week's dominant 61-16 win over NorthWood. Northridge has two league games left, with this week's matchup at Mishawaka and next week's home game against Plymouth to close the regular season, and will need some help as Warsaw holds the head-to-head and a one-win advantage in the NLC standings.

3. Mishawaka Marian (15-5)

Games this week: Jan. 18 vs. NorthWood, Jan. 21 at SB Adams

The Knights, ranked No. 5 in 3A, won one of their three games last week, beating South Bend Clay, 87-30, but falling 63-55 at Class 4A top-ranked Homestead and 73-38 at Carmel. Marian's loss to South Bend Washington earlier this season, where the Knights had a halftime lead, is looming large as they need a ton of help from Jimtown this week to try to nab a share of the league title.

4. Warsaw (14-5)

Games this week: Jan. 18 vs. Homestead, Jan. 22 vs. Concord

The Tigers, unranked in Class 4A, are closing in on a NLC title after last week's 53-15 win over Mishawaka and 52-21 win at Goshen to extend their winning streak to three games. Warsaw currently holds a one-game lead over Northridge and has one NLC game remaining this week against Concord.

5. Penn (14-6)

Games this week: Jan. 19 vs. Elkhart

A season that saw the Kingsmen struggle early on has been closing on a high-note as Penn has won four consecutive games, thanks to last week's 69-14 win over Jimtown and 73-48 victory over Fort Wayne South. The Kingsmen are well out of the race for the NIC crown, but can end their season with two more wins against Elkhart this week and South Bend Clay next week.

6. Fairfield (15-3)

Games this week: Jan. 18 vs. Central Noble, Jan. 21 vs. Westview

The Falcons, ranked No. 6 in Class 2A, have lost a lot of that early-season momentum which helped them start the year with a 12-0 record. Since then, Fairfield has alternated wins and losses over its last six games, including last week's 37-36 loss to Eastside and 44-27 win over West Noble in the Northeast Corner Conference Tournament, won by Garrett.

7. South Bend Saint Joseph (14-8)

Games this week: Jan. 21 at Elkhart

The Indians have alternated wins and losses over their last four games since their three-game winning streak from Dec. 30- Jan. 4. Last week, Saint Joseph won two of three games, beating Goshen, 52-37 and Marquette Catholic, 68-47, with a 64-60 loss to Glenn sandwiched in between.

8. Plymouth (11-7)

Games this week: Jan. 18 at Winamac, Jan. 22 at Wawasee

Plymouth, unranked in 4A, have found some late-season momentum with a three-game winning streak. Last week, the Pilgrims beat LaPorte, 44-21 and also added a 67-43 win over Concord. They finish the season with games against Winamac, Wawasee, Culver Academy and Northridge.

9. Glenn (12-7)

Games this week: Jan. 18 at Culver (Bi-County Tournament)

Glenn, unranked in 3A, has also come on strong at the end of the season having won four of their past five games. Following a 72-39 loss to Valparaiso last week, the Falcons rebounded with a surprising 64-60 win over South Bend Saint Joseph and a 56-27 win over Winamac. This week Glenn will participate in the TCU Bi-County Tournament.

10. Bremen (10-8)

Games this week: Jan. 18 at Argos (Bi-County Tournament)

The Lions, unranked in Class 2A, are struggling to get to the finish line of the regular season, having lost their last three games. Last week, Bremen fell 64-55 to Elkhart in its lone game. The Lions will look to rebound this week when they play in the TCU Bi-County Tournament.
