South Bend marks Martin Luther King Day with march and gathering

Despite COVID-19 concerns delaying a full slate of festivities at Century Center, South Bend still marked Martin Luther King Day on Monday with a march and gathering at the downtown statue of King with the late University of Notre Dame President Father Theodore Hesburgh.

Pastor Odell Hughes addressed the crowd of more than 50 people after a group prayer at the County-City Building and march to the downtown plaza and statue.
