South Carolina 6th in U.S. for ‘lawyer’ searches on Google, study finds

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — When it comes to looking for a lawyer, Google is definitely a friend of people in the Carolinas.

South Carolina ranked sixth in the U.S. in lawyer-related searches per 100,000 people over the past 12 months, according to an analysis of Google search data by the Florida-based Anidjar & Levine law firm.

South Carolina averaged 794 per 100,000 people, according to the analysis. North Carolina ranked ninth with 673 per 100,000.

Nevada topped the list with 1,244 searches per 100,000 people, followed by Colorado (1,080), Georgia 848), Florida (814) and California (814). South Dakota had the fewest average searches with 298.

During the study, experts looked for 190 relevant search terms in the study, including “lawyer,” “best auto accident attorney,” “personal injury lawyer,” “rocket lawyer,” “immigration attorney,” “medical malpractice lawyer,” “how much do lawyer,” “car accident attorney,” and “motorcycle accident lawyer.”
