South Carolina football recruiting has 3 recent commits. Here's a list of top new targets.

South Carolina picked up three 2023 commitments on Sunday after entering the day with only two for that cycle.

The trio decided to announce for the Gamecocks after being part of several visitors that arrived to campus on Friday. South Carolina now focuses on multiple highly ranked recruits who are showing interest in the program.

Kelton Henderson is the highest ranked among the three new commits with the Lehigh Acres, Florida, prospect ranked No. 302 overall and the No. 19 athlete in the 247Sports Composite. He chose the Gamecocks over offers that included Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Auburn, Penn State, Tennessee, Mississippi, LSU, Kentucky, Louisville and Miami.

Tight end Connor Cox of Jacksonville, Florida, is ranked 740th overall and 39th at his position. His offers include Texas, Louisville, Boston College, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Coastal Carolina.

Safety Cameron Upshaw from Perry, Florida is ranked 905th and 71st. He has offers from Florida State, Arkansas, Penn State, Michigan State, Louisvile, Iowa, Cincinnati and Mississippi State.

The Gamecocks  are finalists for several highly regarded recruits. Here is a look at the highest-ranked players, position-by-position, that are showing interest in USC.

► USC has offered four 2023 quarterbacks with two having committed elsewhere. The Gamecocks remain in the hunt for Dylan Lonergan, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect from Snellville, Georgia. He's ranked No. 93 overall and ninth at the position. His top five includes USC along with Alabama, Ohio State, Florida and Stanford.

► The Gamecocks extended 17 offers to running backs with five having committed to other schools. Treyaun Webb (6-1, 205 pounds from Jacksonville, Florida) has USC with Florida, Tennessee, Penn State and Baylor as his finalists. He is ranked 60th overall and No. 5 at his position.

► Jaden Greathouse is among the 36 offers USC has extended to wide receivers with seven having chosen other schools. He plays at Westlake in Austin, Texas, the same school that produced Clemson five-star freshman quarterback Cade Klubnik. Greathouse (6-2, 215 pounds) is ranked No. 113 overall and 17th at wide receiver. USC, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Texas are his finalists.

► Dorman's Markee Anderson (6-5, 305) is one of 17 interior offensive line offers with 10 having picked other programs. Anderson, ranked 125th overall and fifth at his position has a final four of USC, Clemson, North Carolina and LSU.

► Offensive tackle Zechariah Owens is one of 27 offers extended to his position with four announcing for other programs. The Mcdonough, Georgia, prospect is ranked 170th and 16th. He said he won't release a list of finalists, but has shown abundant interest in USC and Clemson among other programs.

► Kelby Collins (6-5, 280) is among USC's 35 defensive line offers (seven have committed somewhere else) and has the Gamecocks joining Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Florida as finalists. The Gardendale, Alabama, prospect is ranked No. 65 overall and sixth at his position.

► Grayson Howard is among 28 linebacker offers (six have committed). The 6-3, 223-pound player from Jacksonville, Florida, is ranked No. 247 and 17th with USC joining Clemson, Georgia, Florida and Texas A&M on his final list.

► Desmond Umeozulu (6-6, 210) is one of 16 defensive end offers with five having committed. The Upper Marlboro, Maryland, recruit is ranked 136th and 12th. His finalists are USC, Ohio State, North Carolina and Pittsburgh.

► Sharif Denson, a 6-0, 170-pound recruit from Jacksonville, Florida, is ranked No. 205 overall and the No. 24 cornerback. He's one of 14 at his position receiving offers from the Gamecocks with three having committed elsewhere. His finalists are USC, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Florida and Florida State.

► Ahmad Brown (6-1, 195) is one of 25 safeties offered by USC with 10 having committed. The Cordele, Georgia, recruit is ranked 442nd and 43rd and is showing interest in the Gamecocks although he hasn't released a list of his top schools. He's scheduled to visit Columbia on June 24.

► Right behind Brown in the safety rankings is Jalon Kilgore (6-2, 195) who will announce his decision Wednesday evening between USC, Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan and Tennessee Tech. The Gamecocks were the Eatonton, Georgia, prospect's first SEC offer on Jan. 22. He's ranked No. 442 and No. 43.
