COLUMBIA — South Carolina football faces No. 2 Georgia, a longtime SEC rival, in its second conference game of the season, at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday (noon, ESPN).
The Gamecocks (1-1, 0-1 SEC) are coming off of a 44-30 loss to Arkansas, and the Bulldogs (2-0, 0-0) have won their first two games by a combined 79 points. Georgia leads the series 53-19-2, and South Carolina has not beaten the Bulldogs at home since 2014. The last win for the Gamecocks was a 20-17 upset in 2019.
