COLUMBIA — After dominating previously undefeated LSU, South Carolina women's basketball stands alone at the top of SEC leaderboard and looks to keep its perfect season alive against Florida.
The No. 1 Gamecocks (25-0, 12-0) take on the Gators (14-11, 3-9) at Colonial Life Arena on Thursday (7 p.m., SEC Network+). South Carolina is on a nation-leading 31-game win streak, and it has won 39 in a row at home, while Florida is on a three-game losing streak in conference play.
The all-time series is tied 20-20, but South Carolina has won the last 14 meetings since 2012. Florida's last win was a two-point victory in Columbia in January 2011. Last season, the Gamecocks beat the Gators 62-50 in Gainesville, marking their fifth straight double-digit win in the series.
