South Euclid Business LT Squared Needs Your Support

The new coronavirus has changed life for all of us. Local businesses have taken a huge economic hit, but communities are finding creative ways to support the establishments they know and love.

In an effort to help local businesses in our communities stay connected and succeed, Patch will shine a light on some of them through a series of Q&A articles during this time.

LT Squared is one of the businesses in town facing struggles during the coronavirus. You can lend your support by reading more about the company, below, and by contacting them here.

Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

LT Squared (named after twins, Leah Tamera and Laeh Tamara) is an African-American, female- owned business. Owned and operated in South Euclid since 2002, we are well known for our customized, award-winning invitations, unique printed items, personalized greeting cards, graphic design and a phenomenal fragrance line.

We stand by our motto, "Whatever you have in mind, we can design." From any personal celebration to corporate events, we accept the challenge to offer a unique and different product that isn't found elsewhere. We hand make invitations (birthday, wedding, retirement, baby/bridal shower, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduation) personal printed items (seating charts, thank you notes, menus, obituaries, etc.) or print media (business cards, fliers, invoices, postcards, posters, cd labels/covers, stickers and more). We were voted the #1 company on Channel 8's Hotlist as the best invitation company in the Cleveland/Akron area for 12 years in a row and we’ve won the Wedding Wire’s Couples Choice Award 10 years in a row!

Our popular fragrance division, Twin Aura Essence, offers hand-poured, highly fragrant candles, concentrated room sprays, scented sachets, designer body oils, tarts, sugar scrubs, hand sanitizers, Shea butters and burning oils. All fragrances are highly concentrated to offer the best aromatic experience possible.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

Sadly, we can't service our current retail customers or printing clientele inside our store because of the ban on non-essential businesses. With our doors closed, we unfortunately are not afforded the opportunity to meet new people who would walk into our doors inquiring about our products and services. Not only has it caused a halt in our revenue, but it has also had a negative effect on any new business. The ban on celebratory events has completely stopped us from printing the primary source of income for our business — our custom invitations.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

We are hoping that supporters will visit our website and make a purchase of our scented items, small or large. We are still able to deliver or ship to our customers. If our products aren't what you're looking for, gift cards are available for those who you know might enjoy our products or services. Please also tell a friend about all the unique things we have to offer.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

We are all in this together! While we have all been quarantined inside, let us reflect on how precious life, health and loved ones are to us. Dream bigger, believe beyond and expect greatness.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

We still have sanitizer in stock and we are a custom company that can personalize printed paper goods. We are promoting our hand-poured, scented products as well as our greeting cards or special notes to show those you can't spend time with, that they are still in your hearts and on your minds. We are also creating learning tools for children who would benefit from custom flash cards and worksheets catered to their skill level.

Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?

Definitely the hair salons and barber shops. They were among the first to feel the impact of businesses having to close their doors for business.
