South Korea considering sending ammo to Ukraine if Russia continues to attack civilians

As things stand now, there are no plans to send arms either directly or through Poland.

Asked whether Seoul plans to send ammunition to Kyiv, he recalled that South Korea had provided humanitarian and financial assistance during the full-scale war unleashed by Russia.

"However, Ukraine came under an illegal invasion," Cho Tae-yong stated. “We plan to consider it after monitoring the situation on the ground and in light of other situations.”

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on April 19 did not rule out the possibility of providing military assistance to Ukraine if the country "suffers a large-scale attack on civilians."

Earlier, Seoul had publicly refused to provide Kyiv with lethal weapons.
