South Lebanon Township resident wins Royer's name-the-arrangement contest

A Lebanon County resident has won Royer's Flowers & Gifts name-the-arrangement contest.

Out of over 500 online entries, Lisa Birkholz of South Lebanon Township was selected as the winner with her submission "Fall Hues."

The arrangement, which features orange rose and orange carnations, purple statice, red alstroemeria and sunflower in a lavender base, will debut in the fall. The arrangement measures 14 inches high and 11 inches wide.

Birkholz as well as Kathy Kissling, also from South Lebanon Township, who was the runner up for her submission of "Fall's Delight," will receive the arrangement, a $34.99 retail value, as their prize.

One entry was allowed daily per email, Kissling contributed six submissions to the contest. Submissions for the contest closed on Aug. 5.

Once the arrangement debuts, it will be available in all stores as a part of Royer's direct-ship program serving the lower 48 states.

Royer's, headquartered in Lebanon County, operates 15 stores in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster and York counties. Their sister company, Stephenson's Flowers & Gifts, operates one store in Harrisburg.
