South Park wave pool offering free admission

The South Park wave pool is offering a free day of admission today.

The pool will be open to the public at 11:30 a.m.

The first 100 customers to pay for entrance on June 30 will get free passes to visit the pool for free on another day during the current season.

Visitors who come to the pool Friday July 1 will have an opportunity to win prizes from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Music will also be played at this time.

The various rewards come after the wave pool was closed for a week. Workers were repairing a water leak during the closure.

Admission to the park typically runs from $1 to $6 for residents and can cost up to $8 for non-residents.
