TOP PERFORMERS
Mecailin Marshall, Lubbock High
Marshall had a game-high 19 points to help the Lady Westerners move to 8-0 on the season.
Patton Pinkins, Frenship
Pinkins poured in a team-high 26 points to lead the Tigers past Amarillo Tascosa.
Majik Esquivel, Lubbock-Cooper
Esquivel went for 22 points in a thumping of Midland Legacy.
Reagan Fiedler, New Home
Fiedler produced 24 points in the Leopards' season-opening win against Idalou.
Jannaeleigh Cooper & Kya Smith, Coronado
Cooper and Smith each had 19 points to propel the Lady Mustangs past Odessa Permian.
Gavin Broome, Plains
Broome almost doubled-up Wellman-Union's scoring output himself, totaling 35 points in the Cowboy win.
Lauren Bayouth, All Saints
Bayouth opened the season with a 23-point effort against Meadow.
Logan Heard, Idalou
Heard had 24 points with three 3-pointers against New Home.
Addy Burns & Addie Stewart, New Home
Burns and Stewart had 26 and 20 points, respectively, against Idalou, each hitting four 3s.
K'Lynn Tarin, Meadow
Despite the loss to All Saints, Tarin had a game-high 25 points for Meadow, going 13-of-14 from the free-throw line.
