These South Texas school districts need substitute teachers; here's how you can help

South Texas school districts are in dire need of substitute teachers.

COVID-19 cases are rising daily. In turn, faculty members are out due to testing positive or encountering someone who is positive.

"If you have free time during the week, I ask for those to please help out your school district and become a substitute teacher," said Anna Holmgreen, Alice ISD's director of human resources. "You're not just helping staff, but you're helping the future generation with their education."

To become a substitute, you need to have a positive attitude, be punctual and have experience with children. If that sounds like something you excel in, check out six school districts in the area to help out at.
