Burrito bucket list: 12 must-try dishes on the SouthCoast

It is Cinco de Mayo and to celebrate we have compiled a list of mouthwatering burritos for you to try.

The day is often mistaken for Mexican Independence Day, but it is actually to honor the victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.

Here in America, it is signified as a day to celebrate Mexican culture and heritage — most often with Mexican food, cocktails and festivals. Locally it is a great time to support our Mexican restaurants.

Here are some places dishing up burritos stuffed to the brim with different meats, veggies and sauces, all sure to bring the flavors of Mexico to the SouthCoast.
