Wareham 66, Dighton-Rehoboth 57

The Vikings overcame a slow start to capture their ninth straight win. “Give D-R credit as they controlled the tempo most of the night,” said Wareham head coach Steve Faniel. “On a night where we didn’t shoot the ball well at all, we had to find other ways to win.” Ajay Lopes had a team-high 23 points while Antoine Crosson added 13. “Our kids got to realize although they have had some success early, now they are going to take everyone's best shot,” Faniel said. “But on the road in this league, you celebrate all the wins so we will take it. We also know we are better than what we showed tonight so we learn and move on to the next one.” The Vikings (12-1, 11-0 SCC) visit Case on Tuesday.
