SouthCoast high school scores and highlights from Sunday, Feb. 19

Here's a look at the scores and highlights from Sunday's high school action on the SouthCoast.

TRACK

Div. 3 states

Dartmouth’s Madison Stott took third in the 600 (1:41.3) to qualify for the Meet of Champions. She also placed eighth in the 300 (42.69). Braden Medeiros medaled in the shot put with a throw of 43-07. Tyler Medeiros set a Dartmouth record with a 2:38.91 in the 1,000, breaking Logan Patenaude’s mark from 2014. GNB Voc-Tech’s Owen Viera finished third in the 55 high hurdles (7.94) to advance to the Meet of Champions. Jarred Quann finished third in the 55 dash (6.69) to also move on. Justin Andrade took fifth in the high jump (personal-best 5-10). The 4x200 relay team of Andrade, Marcus Pires, Jordan Perez and Quann took eighth (1:36.86) and the 4x400 relay team of Perez, Antonio Caniera, Pires and Viera came in 10th.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Bishop Stang 44, Ursuline Academy 37

Stang improves to 13-7 with the win in a tournament that honors former Notre Dame Hingham player and coach Jessica Bradbury, who passed away from cancer at age 38.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Brockton 73, Dartmouth 67·

Dartmouth fell to 14-3, suffering its second loss in the Southeast Conference.

BOYS HOCKEY

Lowell Catholic 3, Bishop Stang 1

Jadyn Pavao scored an unassisted goal. Carter Vane stopped 23 of 26 shots in goal for Stang (5-12-1, 2-0-0).
