SouthCoast high school scores and highlights from Sunday, Nov. 13

Here's a look at the scores and highlights from Sunday's high school action on the SouthCoast.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Div. 3A States

Bishop Stang took second behind Westin out of 24 teams at Gardner Golf Course in wet and muddy conditions to qualify for All-States. Andrew Caldera took 11th (17:59) to medal for the Spartans. Others who contributed were Andrew Weaver (17th; 18:22), Andrew Fortin (28th; 18:45), Jack Lucy (45th; 19:15), Conor Levesque (73rd; 20:21) and Dalton Baker (82nd; 20:37). “They gave great efforts and performances and I am so proud of this team,” said Bishop Stang coach Julie Isaksen.

Div. 2B States

The Bulldogs punched their ticket to All-States with a sixth-place finish (162 points). Contributing for ORR were Murray Copps (second; 16:18.80), Tyler Young (19th; 17:15.21), Aidan Silk (30th; 17:33.15), Torsten Brickley (50th; 17:54.68), Nolan Bushnell (61st; 18:08.20), Noah Robert-Hurley (121st; 19:33.53) and Teddy Carroll (151st; 21:05.73).

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Div. 2B States

Old Rochester took fourth place (134 points) thanks to the running of Hanna Whalley (ninth; 19:27.30), Alexia Gonsalves (23rd; 20:33.06), Maddie Conner (30th; 20:57.66), Aubrey Heis (36th; 21:12.38), Corrine Robert (38th; 21:19.64), Chloe Hurley (64th; 22:19.56) and Madeline Dugas (92nd; 23.48.62). The Bulldogs will compete at the All-State meet.
