Southeastern appoints pair of vice presidents of marketing and innovation

Southeastern University has announced the appointment of two new vice presidents to the university’s executive leadership team.

Michael Steiner, previously chief of staff, will now be vice president for innovation and communication. Jamie Anderson joins the SEU staff as vice president of marketing.

Steiner has served as chief of staff since 2017, SEU said in a news release. In his new position, he will oversee the startup of university initiatives and seeking funding for the projects through grant resources. He will also create and develop the SEU Media Network.

Steiner has worked with both the Lily Foundation and the Kern Family Foundation, the release said.

Anderson will direct SEU’s brand strategy through the development of marketing campaigns intended to drive engagement and brand awareness. He has more than 25 years of experience in education, multi-specialty health care, bands and brands, the release said.

Anderson has also served as the site director for SEU’s The Belonging Co College and led the most successful launch of any of the university’s partner sites to date, the release said.
