Southern California Thunderstorm Causes Power Outages

Neighborhoods across Fontana, California, lost power after a slew of lightning strikes on Wednesday, June 22, according to local news.

This footage posted to Twitter by user @Sicko_Gus shows lightning forking across the night sky.

The National Weather Service warned residents on Thursday to “plan for gusty winds, brief heavy rain, and dangerous lightning” in Los Angeles, the Ventura County mountains, and Antelope Valley.
