A new Chinese and Asian fusion spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 1611 E. 55th St. in East Hyde Park, the new addition is called Southside Ken.
Southside Ken specializes in dumplings and "exotic dishes," according to the website. On the menu, look for dim sum, fried rice and noodles.
Southside Ken has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Allen Z. wrote, “We catered from this restaurant, and the food is excellent. The vegetables, noodles, eggplant, tofu and pork are so good. Full of great spice and flavor!"
And Linda T. wrote, "Finally! Good Chinese food in [Hyde Park]. We got soup dumplings, a great fish stew/soup and cumin lamb. Different flavor profiles but all good."
