Southwest Airlines Employee Serenades Passengers With Pro-Southwest Song on Delayed Flight

A Southwest Airlines employee provided some pre-flight entertainment to passengers whose flight to Chicago was delayed for an hour at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on October 12.

Video filmed by passenger Lisa Wilson shows people on the flight clapping along as the employee sings into the PA system.

“Our flight was an hour delayed due to late arrival of the inbound flight from Las Vegas. Because of all of the chaos from the canceled Southwest flights over the weekend, everyone was on edge,” she said. “This gate agent made sure we all remembered the type of customer service that Southwest is known for and we left the gate with smiles on our faces.” Credit: Lisa Wilson via Storyful
