Soyuz rocket launches OneWeb satellites from Russia

The satellites were put into near-polar orbit at an altitude of 450 kilometers (280 miles).

OneWeb satellites were launched as part of the company's effort to provide global high-speed internet access in remote access, according to launch provider Arianespace.

OneWeb has previously launched 110 satellites in orbit, and with the launch of the new constellation spacecraft, it will bring figures up to a total of 146 satellites, according to Arianespace.
