  1. Space law is a real thing. Scottsdale-based Rose Law Group pc has a new space law practice.
    First in Arizona, according to Your Valley reporting, "This revolutionary new practice... will involve assisting clients in the space and satellite arena." Rose Law Group pc will represent the MILO Institute, a collaborative effort between Arizona State University and Lockheed Martin. According to the article, the institute seeks to make "deep space missions more affordable and accessible by using a new cost-sharing model that will allow its members to participate at a fraction of the total mission cost."   2. Christopher Volk is out of a job, according to Phoenix Business Journal. Store Capital, a real estate investment trust from Scottsdale, told the Securities and Exchange Commission that Christopher Volk, the company's executive chairman, was released "without cause."The company named Tawn Kelley to follow Volk as the new chairman.   3. Comedian Rob Schneider, SNL alumnus and Deuce Bigalow star, received help from SPD following car trouble earlier this month. According to Fox 10 reporting, the call came in when Schneider's Tesla stopped functioning at Pima Road and Thompson Peak. Schneider said thank you to "Scottsdale's finest" for their help in a follow-up Twitter post. "They couldn't have been nicer. Like I said, I love Scottsdale. It is our home." (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
