SpaceX Crew-5 set to return to Earth, splash down off Florida’s coast Saturday

A team of astronauts that launched from Florida’s Space Coast last year is spending their final days in orbit before heading home.

The SpaceX Crew-5 mission launched to the International Space Station last October.

Thursday’s planned undocking was pushed back because of weather at the splashdown site.

Crew-5 is now set to leave around 2 a.m. Saturday before splashing down off Florida’s coast just after 9 p.m.
