SpaceX Splashdown: 4 Astronauts Ride SpaceX Capsule Back To Earth

The Dragon capsule parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Panama City, Florida, just before 3 a.m., ending the second astronaut flight for Elon Musk's company.

- New this morning, four astronauts back on Earth after SpaceX makes an overnight splashdown. This is the first nighttime splashdown that's been conducted since 1968. The Dragon Capsule parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico, near the Florida panhandle. The four astronauts on board spent about six months on the International Space Station and flew back in the same capsule from which they launched.
