The Castle Cantina, as the site of the former Castle Restaurant in Leicester, announced it will be holding a soft opening Tuesday.

Suhaily Quiñones and her husband, Jose Flores, and brother, Carlos Quiñones are opening the tapas restaurant less than a year after the legendary Castle Restaurant closed its doors last July. The Nicas family had operated the fine-dining restaurant for more than 70 years.

"Our goal is to make the Castle an experience, and kind of follow in memory of the Nicas family," Quiñones told the T&G in October.

Spanish tapas menus feature small and shareable dishes. The menu for the soft opening can be found on Castle Cantina's Facebook page.
