LANSING – A panel of doctors will answer questions about COVID-19 during a virtual town hall-style meeting Thursday sponsored by Sparrow Health System.

The session will happen via Zoom from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is intended to provide "the latest data and insights on COVID," Sparrow said in a news release.

"Misinformation about the COVID vaccine has resulted in many people being hesitant about getting the shot," the release said. "The goal ... is to provide accurate, empowering information to help everyone make an informed health decision ..."

The virtual session will be moderated by Sparrow Hospital President Alan Vierling. The panelists will be Chief Medical Officer Denny Martin, Medical Chief of Staff-Elect LaKeeya Tucker, Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer Michael Zaroukian and Steve Martin, pediatric intensivist and co-director of University of Michigan Health at Sparrow Children's Center.

Questions can be submitted in advance or made during the event. You can register through this website.
