Five people are dead after a Sunday evening shooting in Inman on Bobo Drive. Four were found dead and one died at the hospital while undergoing surgery.

Later Monday, Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger released the identifications of three men who died in the shooting. Thomas Ellis Anderson, 37, and Adam Daniel Morley, 32. Both lived on Bobo Drive, according to an email from the coroner. Mark Allen Hewitt, 59, who was staying at the incident location, also died in the shooting.

"We are working hard to get other family members notified and will report those names when appropriate," Clevenger said.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said his office is attempting to make positive identification and forensic exams on the five deceased individuals. As of Monday afternoon he said one victim had been identified, but the identity would not be released.

An active investigation with the Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office is pending.

Clevenger said all injuries appear to be gunshots and some of the victims had multiple gunshot wounds, but declined to disclose the exact shot count since there is an active investigation. He added that all the victims were in different locations in the house.

Clevenger said he did not believe the victims were related to each other. He also said no minors were involved.

"Upon discovery, EMS responded and only one individual was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where they passed away while in surgery," Clevenger said. "The other four were deceased and remained on scene."

Sheriff's Office deputies reported to the scene around 7:45 pm Sunday evening. Clevenger said the Coroner's Office responded around 8:30 pm Sunday. As of late Monday morning, Sheriff's Deputies had the crime scene sectioned off.

Both the Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Office said more information will be released after the families of the victims are notified, following identification.

Clevenger said the decedents from the residence were transported to the morgue this morning after crime scene documentation.
