Adoption Fee: $75
Tux was transferred from another feline rescue group. Typical teenager, Tux loves catnip and wand toys. Being a young man, he is super playful and affectionate. He can be shy at first, but watch out: When he trusts you, he becomes a kitten again. Request to meet him at www.spcaflorida.org/appointment.
Bart
Gender: Male
Age: 10 years old
Weight: 9 pounds
Species: Cat
Breed: Domestic Shorthair – Orange/White Tabby
Orphaned Since: August 2022
Adoption Fee: $50
Bart was transferred from another Polk County shelter. He is a kind, sweet old man, that is comfortable around most female cats, but can be a bit unruly around some male cats. A home with no other male cats is recommended for Bart’s retirement home. When Bart arrived at SPCA Florida he had severe dental disease and any remaining teeth he had, were removed. Bart does have a condition called stomatitis, which steroid injections tend to keep under control. Since Bart has no teeth and stomatitis, he tends to drool, but don’t let that deter you, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He enjoys chicken, laser pointers and wand toys. He is a complete couch potato and enjoys a screened in patio for some sun. Bart is FIV+, but he is ready to live a full life. If you would like to meet Bart, make a reservation at www.spcaflorida.org/appointment.
