Special dinners planned for Passover at Palm Beach restaurants

Café Boulud at The Brazilian Court is featuring a special three-course prix-fixe dinner menu for Passover on Friday and Saturday.

The menu by executive chef Dieter Samijn and head pastry chef Julie Franceschini offers a selection of appetizers, main courses and desserts.

Matzo ball soup and smoked trout are among the appetizers.

Maine-course choices include grilled Mediterranean seabass, cedar-roasted salmon and house-smoked beef brisket.

Family-style side dishes also will be served, such as grilled asparagus.

Look for a choice of “exotic” pavlova or flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet for dessert.

Café Boulud’s three-course Passover menu is $125 for adults and $65 for children younger than 12. Café Boulud (www.cafeboulud.com/palmbeach) is at 301 Australian Ave.

Among other places offering menu specials for Passover include Almond restaurant. Almond (www.almondrestaurant.com), 207 Royal Poinciana Way, is set to feature daily specials by chef de cuisine Cesar Balderas Friday and Saturday.

Among them: red wine-braised beef brisket with glazed carrots and dill ($44).
