Special Needs Prom a 2022 event to remember for Rutherford County Schools

Students from Rutherford County's high schools dressed to the nines Tuesday morning at the annual Special Needs Prom, held at the Smyrna Event Center.

Hosted by Siegel High, the event is free. Each high school had volunteers to help fellow students arrive at the prom.

Siegel also provided all attire, and educators from across the county joined in the fun, dancing and mingling with students.

Local businesses donating services for this year's event included Jo's Custom Cakes, RJ's Party Animals balloon arches, Mobile DJ, Bell Bank Mortgage and Paul Mitchel School of Murfreesboro.
