The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games Law Enforcement Torch Run is expected to make a stop at the Jersey Shore at 1:30 p.m. this Tuesday, May 24, at Antrim Middle School’s Donald T. Fioretti Field in Point Pleasant Beach.

Special Olympic athletes and law enforcement members will carry the “Flame of Hope” torch during this event, sponsored by Jersey Mike's Subs.

The torch run's final leg is a two-week tour that begins in Chicago with a flame-lighting ceremony and finishes in Orlando on June 5 where the torch is carried into the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and used to ignite a custom-made cauldron during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games.
