As Kate Middleton undergoes chemotherapy for an undisclosed type of cancer, the Princess of Wales is showing her appreciation to well-wishers one letter at a time.

Kensington Palace has been sending out thank you letters (on Princess Catherine’s behalf) to royal fans who have sent their best wishes to the 42-year-old royal during treatment, according to Hello! Magazine.

Earlier this month, a royal admirer named @AllexmarieHoll1 posted on X (formerly Twitter) that she received a heartfelt letter from the palace after she sent her best wishes to Princess Catherine following the royal’s planned abdominal surgery back in January. Along with the palace’s official letterhead, the letter read: “Thank you for your kind well wishes to Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales. Your thoughtful gesture is very much appreciated.”

Hello! also pointed out that the palace usually sends out thank you cards on behalf of the Prince and Princess of Wales on special occasions, like on their birthdays, the children’s birthdays, wedding anniversaries and national holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Back in March, Queen Camilla visited the Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market a few days after Princess Catherine announced her cancer diagnosis in an emotional video shared on Instagram. During the outing, the 76-year-old royal encountered two young girls who made posters that read, “Send our love to Kate.”

While taking a moment to share how much Princess Catherine enjoys receiving well-wishes from fans, she said, “I know that Catherine is thrilled by all the kind wishes and support. I shall send these on to Catherine, she will be thrilled.”

Glad to see so many royal fans are sending positive words and thoughts during this difficult time.
