Spencer Rattler delivers clapback at ECU after basketball pregame video shenanigans

Spencer Rattler’s cameo charges $100 for a 30-second, personalized video. Fans could use it for a birthday present, a good luck or anything they choose.

East Carolina basketball tried to use it to poke fun at the Gamecocks before their game ton Saturday.

The Pirates played the video of Rattler wishing ECU good luck ahead of its game against USC. The 20-second clip had the former star quarterback giving the Pirates advice in a quiet Minges Coliseum.

“Play good defense, distribute the ball and play well,” Rattler said in the video.

After the Gamecocks’ 68-62 win over the Pirates, it was revealed Rattler thought he made the cameo for a high school team.

“Hey Pirates, you guys left out a little bit of information,” Rattler said in a separate video posted by USC men’s basketball. “Anyways, looked like you guys could’ve used them today.”

Rattler, who is in New York City this weekend for an appearance, later quote-tweeted the Gamecocks’ account, saying “good try!”
