The latest “Spider-Man” installment is spinning a record-breaking web of success.

”Spider-Man: No Way Home” — starring Tom Holland and Zendaya — earned $50 million in Thursday previews.

That total is the all-time third-highest for a Thursday preview, trailing only Avengers: Endgame” ($60 million in 2019) and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” ($57 million in 2015).

According to Fandango, more tickets have been sold for the Sony Pictures superhero flick than the entire theatrical run of any 2020 or 2021 release, including this year’s previous ticketing champ, ”Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”

On pace to pull in between $150 million to $180 million over its opening weekend, the new Spider-Man will be the first pandemic-era movie to cross the $100 million threshold in a single weekend.

“Few experiences can duplicate the joy of seeing ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ for the first time on the big screen,” Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis commented Friday. “It’s the best live-action ‘Spider-Man’ movie to date, as well as a smart, fun and exciting tribute to twenty years of ‘Spider-Man’ movies.”

The Los Angeles-based tech company said its theater partners continue to post new showtimes on Fandango to meet the fan demand as thousands of showtimes are sold out through the weekend on its main ticket sales site.

“It’s nonstop emotion,” said Jacob Batalon, who plays Spider-Man’s best friend and sidekick of the movie, which brings together villains from several previous Spider-Man outings.

Holland, 25, is the third actor to don spandex as the superhero also known as Peter Parker; past big screen web-spinners are Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Budgeted at a reported $200 million, the cast of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” also includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church and Rhys Ifans.
