Spider-Man's Zendaya, Minari's Steven Yeun and American Horror Story star Angela Bassett have joined the "ensemble cast" of presenters for the 2021 Oscars.

This year's ceremony will take place this Sunday (April 25), with coronavirus pandemic regulations still in place.

Presenting the awards in their 93rd year, in addition to the Euphoria and Black Panther stars, will be former Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Laura Dern, Regina King, Marlee Matlin and Rita Moreno.

Also among the 2021 cast of presenters will be last year's winners Bong Joon-ho, Joaquin Phoenix, Renée Zellweger and Brad Pitt, as well as two of this year's nominees Riz Ahmed and Viola Davis.

The star-filled "ensemble" was announced by Oscars show producers Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher and Steven Soderbergh.

They said: "In keeping with our awards-show-as-a-movie approach, we've assembled a truly stellar cast of stars. There's so much wattage here, sunglasses may be required."
