Spin room reaction to third U.S. Democratic presidential debate

It was the first time moderate former vice president, Biden, was on a debate stage with the progessive U.S. senator, Elizabeth Warren, and a fiery matchup between them was widely anticipated.

Yet it produced no fireworks, as she stuck to her pattern of not criticizing other Democrats, and continued to do so in the spin room minutes after the debate.

"I'm not here to criticize anyone, I'm here to talk about why I'm running for President and my vision of what this country will be like if we can actually make this Democracy work again, and build an America that isn't just about helping those at top, but an America that's about helping everyone."

Meanwhile, U.S Senator, Kamala Harris, who made waves when she attacked front-runner Biden and others in previous debates, turned her attention to a safer target this time: Donald Trump.

Harris blamed the sitting U.S. President for cultivating a culture of "hate and intimidation" amid recent mass shootings in Texas and Ohio at the debate, striking a similar tone in the spin room.

"When we look at the fact that Donald Trump has been a failed president, a failed admin with broken promises...I think the American people know that the most important thing is that we focus on what we need to do to make sure there's not another four years of his administration."
