A statement released by the company Wednesday says the store also has Akron Zips and Kent State gear. And it only sells items made by "well-known vendors" like "Adidas, New Era, Mitchell & Ness, Nike, plus many others." In addition it sells merchandise for Bertman Ballpark Mustard and Cleveland Whiskey.

The statement added, "Rally House recognizes that Jackson Township is home to many sports fans and proud locals, making this location a perfect fit for a new storefront. 'We are so excited to expand to the Jackson Township area,' describes District Manager Hannah Garcia. 'The diehard sports fans here are going to love our selection and the fact that we are a one-stop-shop for college, local, and pro teams."

Rally House lists 140 stores nationwide on its website including the new Jackson Township location. The company has 24 stores in Ohio. Prior to the opening of the Jackson Township location, the nearest Rally House was at Summit Mall in Akron.

The company's website says no two stores are alike.

According to the company's website, a husband and wife founded the store chain in the Kansas City area in the early 1990s. Rally House and Sampler Stores Inc. is family-owned and based in Lenexa, Kansas.

The Jackson Township Rally House is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
