New sports betting restaurant opening in Dayton right before First Four
The NCAA Tournament is right around the corner and a new sports betting restaurant is opening right on schedule.

The Barstool Sportsbook at Hollywood Dayton will open right before the First Four games at the UD Arena.
The new spot will have food and a nice space to bet on and watch the games.
When sports betting came to Ohio in January, this restaurant was not ready for the NFL Playoffs.
But with the Miami Valley being a strong basketball community, Dave Schleter, the Sports Book manager, is looking forward to the crowds turning out to watch and bet on some of the games.

“I’m very pleasantly surprised how strong a basketball community that we have,” he said. “We opened so late in the football season only the last couple of weeks plus the playoffs, but we sustained a level of success based on basketball. I mean it’s great. The state of Ohio, they love sports in general. They like to keep it here and bet locally.”
Barstool Sports will officially open up on Sunday, March 12, which is Selection Sunday.
