North Daviess volleyball took on Linton and lost in three games. 25-19, 25-17, and 25-15. The Lady Cougars drop to 4-1 in the conference and 10-12 for the season.

B-R wins 5-0

MONTGOMERY — The Barr-Reeve Tennis team won 5-0 against Evansville Christian on their Senior Night at Barr-Reeve on Thursday and ended its regular season at 16-4. The Sectional drawing will take place Monday night, where Sectional play is set for Wednesday night at Loogootee.

At No. 1, Donnie Miller beat Jack Rietman, 6-0, 6-1, Xavier Meiring beat Noah Pettyjohn, 6-0, 6-1, and Alex Guinn beat Thomas Gillespie, 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles, Ethan Stoll and Isaac Madison beat Joe Gillespie and Kai Radke, 6-0, 6-1, while Levi Lester and Brody Swartzentruber beat Ryder Cartwright and Ryan Abney, 6-0, 6-0.

Barr-Reeve JV ended their season with two wins. Senior Dalton Knepp ended his tennis career with an 8-0 JV Doubles win.

FERDINAND — The Washington Hatchet volleyball team lost in three games on the road, 25-21, 25-22 and 28-26 to Forest Park on the road on Thursday.
